The students at Den Skandinaviske designhøjskole (The scandinavian design college) had to design a product for a space at the school that created more value to the area they chose. More designs from the course will be up this week
We pushed the students to see opportunities to cut something in 2D and create a awesome design in 3D
The students also had to think of how they should collect their final design by using fx. tenons, overlaps, folding principles etc.
The course learned the students not only how to design something 3 dimensional out of 2 dimensional surfaces, but also gave them an understanding og how to use rapid manufacturing and get their design out in a very short timespan.
